Åre is located in the far north of Sweden where the ski season lasts until early May. The Åre Momentum Experience involves a visit to our exclusive chalet perched high in the mountains, where can you enjoy a fabulous combination of Scandinavian design, world-class skiing and magnificent views.
Adventures wait around every corner in Åre. Heli-skiing, snow mobile racing, dog sledding, ice driving, hiking, paragliding, zip-lining, rafting and kayaking are all available from the doorstep of your sumptuous lodge.

After a short helicopter transfer you arrive at our stunning lodge. From here, on top of Förberget in Åre-Björnen, the scenery is magnificent, unrestricted views of Åreskutan and the surrounding massif with lake Åresjön meandering through the stunning valley below…
After a delicious meal prepared fresh from local ingredients by your personal chef, you are ready to hit the slopes. Snap your skis on outside the lodge and ski straight into Åre’s impressive lift system. The lower part of Åre-Björnen has Åre’s best cross-country terrain: wonderful undulating trails for both classic and freestyle aficionados.
As night draws in it’s time to relax as the twilight plays its dance across the constantly shifting mountain panorama. If you are one for nightlife, there is no shortage of great après ski parties, just let us know your preferences.

There are limitless experiences to be had during your weekend in Åre. Waking up to blue skies and brisk mountain air, everything you experience during your time in Åre is designed with influence from the local area, its history and traditional craftsmanship – inspiration from nature.
Heli-skiing is the ultimate untracked skiing experience. The helicopter leaves from right outside the lodge and takes you to as many summits in the surrounding massif as you have energy for.
For those with the taste of adrenaline, why not take a glide along Europe’s longest zip line above the beautiful landscape or try the legendary Scandinavian ice-driving?
If your prefer life a little more zen-like, then experience the natural wonder of Åre and take in a stroll through the mountains with the chance to see reindeer and moose, enjoy some cross-country skiing, or visit a settlement of the indigenous Sami population.
We will make sure that everyone, no matter their skiing abilities, has a truly unforgettable time. Whether off-piste skiing with our guides or paragliding from the top of Åreskutan mountains, or riding out with the calm and steady Icelandic horses, Åre leaves a lasting impression.
For the adventurous, a snowmobile safari can be combined with dog sledding and a break at the famous Carins Stuga restaurant before heading back to your lodge for a traditional hot-tub-and-sauna. In the evenings you can retreat to your luxurious lodge and visit the neighbouring 5-star hotel restaurant and nightclub. Or perhaps dine at
the 19th-century Villa Tottebo?
